 New Update to AI Video: Camera Controls

AI Video creation got more dynamic with camera controls. When it comes to image-to-video creation, two leading platforms - RunwayML and Pika Labs - recently launched new updates that give users more control over camera movements.

Now you can decide the direction and speed of pans, zooms, and rotations to make your AI-generated videos more cinematic and controllable.

With the new -camera parameter, you can input commands like "zoom in," "pan left," or "rotate clockwise" right in your text prompt.

The platforms will render smooth camera motions based on your directions. Combine multiple moves like "pan up right" for complex sequences.

As Runway and Pika continue to rapidly improve, features like this show the potential for users to direct fully customizable, broadcast-quality video content powered by AI. The future of automated video generation looks scary exciting.

Midjourney + Stable Diffusion = Fooocus

Generating AI art just got more accessible with Fooocus. It is a new interface for SDXL, created by the ControlNet programmer (lllyasviel). This new software lets anyone create images from text prompts without messing with complex settings.

Fooocus is a rethinking of Stable Diffusion and Midjourney’s designs:

• Learned from Stable Diffusion, Fooocus is offline, open source, and free.

• Learned from Midjourney, manual tweaking is not needed - users just focus on prompts and images.

The intuitive interface focuses on creativity, not technical details. The installation process of Fooocus takes only 2 clicks. So you don’t need to be an “IT person” to be able to use it.

Under the hood, optimizations improve image quality so you don’t need to play with all the parameters. However, it allows easy control over quality, image size, style and LoRA models.

You can install it from GitHub or use the ready Google Colab notebook to run it.
