The main focus of the announcement was to make sophisticated graphic design more accessible. It aims to empower anyone to create visual content by simplifying the design process. Things that used to require complex skills can now be done in just a few clicks.

The direct integration with RunwayML gives Canva users straightforward access to powerful video animation creation through AI. It enables anyone to produce dynamic video content as part of their graphic designs, without needing expertise in animation or video editing.
